COURTNEY LOVE And FRANCES COBAIN Leave TWITTER After Tirade

October 12, 2009

The Pulse of Radio reports: Courtney Love, the widow of late NIRVANA frontman Kurt Cobain, and her daughter with Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain, have both deleted their Twitter accounts days after Frances launched a series of tweets blasting Ali Lohan, younger sister of Lindsay Lohan. According to Spinner.com, Frances blasted Lohan after seeing her get VIP treatment at Fashion Week in Paris, writing, "(You're) not entitled to anything simply because your sister has a recognizable name. Your idea of fame isn't fame. It's infamy. You want to be famous? Work your ass off and make decisions that could potentially catapult your career into a lasting one."

The 16-year-old Cobain added, "You lack the talent, social understanding and credibility to be anything other than infamous. It will be the formality of fame that puts you on the covers of tabloids, while the public idly watches you (plummet) into the murky abyss shared with the likes of Spencer Pratt and Jon Gosselin who, I'm sure, will steal your money whilst there."

Speculation online has suggested that Love and Cobain deleted their accounts either due to hacking or because of a backlash by fans of Lohan.

Love is known for her barely coherent rants about lawyers, identity theft, fellow celebs and musicians. Her last tweet described how nervous she was about performing at a New York benefit show with Bono and others.
